Villa Secunda self catering accommodation in the heart of Gordons Bay

Villa Secunda is a garden apartment with a definite Provencal feel. Situated on the mountainside in the Old Village part of Gordon’s Bay. Only 200m from the beach and a short stroll to the famous blue-flag Bikini Beach, old harbour and the many beachfront restaurants.

Views from most of the rooms and the covered verandah are stunning and you will enjoy watching the yachts in the bay, looking across at beautiful Table Mountain, Devil’s Peak, the Hottentot-Holland mountain range and the distant vineyards.

The Villa offers every comfort to make your visit memorable.

There is a lavender filled garden terrace with a built-in braai (barbecue), rustic furniture and sunloungers.

The apartment entrance is accessed by way of a flight of stone steps. There is an open plan living room with Italian sofas, a refectory dining table and a small but well-equipped granite-topped kitchen. French doors lead onto a spacious verandah for relaxing and eating ‘al fresco’.

There are two en-suite bedrooms. One bedroom has a Queen-size mahogany sleigh bed and a chaise longue. The other bedroom has a Queen-size bed and French touches such as a sea-facing window with wooden shutters, and muslin blinds at the two small windows. Both bedrooms enjoy having ‘block out’ curtains to keep out the early morning sun.

There is also the option of a small single room (off the verandah) at a small supplementary charge. This room has a wonderful sea view.
